The health & safety of our employees and customers is a prime responsibility of our management. We will specifically:

• Incorporate health, safety & environmental factors into our business decisions
• Identify the health, safety and environmental hazards arising from our business and manage the associated risk
• Comply, and where appropriate, improve on legislation requirements
• Continuously monitor and where possible improve our health safety and environmental performance
• Provide ongoing training and supervision to enable employees to work with due consideration for the health and safety of themselves, others and the environment

Make efficient use of resources to save energy, reduce waste, promote re-cycling and the use of re-cycled materials.

• Ensure the use of safe products throughout the company
• Make available appropriate resources to implement the policy

Current systems employed by Grosvenor Contracts:

• The ultrasonic cleaning method employed by Grosvenor Contracts is energy efficient and reduces dramatically the need for the use of cleaning chemicals.
• The dry-cleaning process used by Grosvenor Contracts is self contained and the cleaning chemicals are re-cycled through a distillation process.
• All cleaning waste created by Grosvenor Contracts is disposed of in accordance with the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
• All waste disposed of is logged with a Certificate of Environmental Compliance.
• To ensure total control of our environmental policies all cleaning works are performed at our factory.

Future plans to be more committed to the environment:

• Introduce a Silicon dry-cleaning system
• Introduce LPG vehicles
• Introduce the latest ultrasonic equipment and look to eliminate the need for cleaning chemicals totally.

The above are current areas in which Grosvenor Contracts is looking to improve. We however are continuously assessing and changing our methods to be more environmentally friendly.
